The university gained a staggering 8 places in 2008 in the University ranking and has reached to no. 12 after entering the top 20 in 2007.

The Good University Guide, especially named the University of Leicester as a top performing university not being in the London, Oxford, Cambridge triangle. As a website originating from this university we can be proud of studying at this institution. With student satisfaction scored at 4.1 finishing before Oxford and just after Cambridge and St. Andrews, the Leicester is among the top satisfying institutions according to students.

Additionally, the University of Leicester also receieved the title of University of the Year from the Times Higher. A good achievement from our University and certainly something to be proud of.
